Assistant Store Manager – Tumi
- POSITION SUMMARY
- Work with the Store Manager to drive Brand initiatives in the Store whilst aligning to Valiram procedures and quest for excellence.
- Assist the Store Manager in achieving sales goals, monitoring expenses and consistently provide customers with the highest level of service.
- Maintain inventory integrity – minimise stock losses & ensure monthly (& daily if necessary) stock counts.
- Foster a positive, engaging and ethical working environment
2.KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS :
- Increase sales and maximize profitability of the store
- Achieve high service standards as per Mystery Shopper score card
- Achieve high retail standard and customer registration target as per score card
- Inventory Integrity, managing stock losses and conducting stock counts
- Responsible for Staff Development & training in the store
- Responsible to maintain employee engagement & loyalty
3.KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES
Drive the Sales and maximize Profitability
- Execute the main sales initiatives of the Brand
- Daily, weekly and monthly action plan to deliver the expected sales results
- Optimize the duty rosters to guarantee proper floor coverage, maximise sales whilst minimizing payroll expenses.
Achieve High Service Standards
- Provide coaching to floor staff on customer service, selling skills, product knowledge, etc. to ensure the highest level of service is achieved.
- Conduct daily briefings to the floor staff on customer service, month to date sales, grooming and highlights of the day.
- Lead the team and put in place appropriate action as to offer a WOW Service experience to the customer.
- Provide exemplary customer services to floor staff and work with the team to best handle customer complaints.
Maintains Best Retail Standards
- Perform and supervise store opening and closing procedures and to ensure the process is in compliance with company SOPs.
- Ensure proper care of stocks, fixtures and furniture within the store, and kept neatly and tidy at all times.
- Ensure visual merchandising are implemented efficiently.
- Be vigilant and practice regular checks on staff movements during operating hours
Inventory Integrity
- Work with the store staff to manage inventory and minimize stock losses
- Monthly stock take routine to ensure Inventory accuracy and submission of reports on timely manner.
- Responsible for all stock control documentation and resolve discrepancies within 2-3 days and report all findings to Mngr.
Team Leadership
- Assist the Manager in monitoring staff performance on a regular basis and identify areas for training when necessary.
- Conduct on the job trainings to floor staff and give proper product trainings/knowledge and provide WOW Service training to staff
- Regular store meetings to ensure accurate and consistent communication to the staff.
- Roster management within the floor area, ensuring that all floor requirements are covered during operating hours.
- To improve staff morale leading to positive and dynamic working attitude.
- Maintain general and acceptable staff working conditions.
- Staff to conduct themselves in a proper and professional manner in compliance with the Code of Business Conduct
Reporting
- Ensure the appropriate daily, weekly and monthly reports submission are delivered on time.
- CRC Database is updated on constant basis.
- Any Ad-Hoc requests by the Brand / Management.
